Writing about a true story

Nearly Fell into that CB BS

Hey, lovelies! 🌸

A quick note for everyone here, writers, readers, digital creators, bloggers, and all your creative people out there.

I almost got tricked by one of those emails of your FB page is under revision, it will be deleted, you’re going to have to confirm here that you want to keep it in the next 24 hours, we have sent you multiple messages about it (Lie!), and well, all of that B.S that I normally recognise as such but the message looked so real that I almost believed it until I realised that I shouldn’t be getting an email there and after a moment of me saying, here we go again, probably someone with ill intentions flagged my page and I doubted the universe, after all that, I did what I usually do with those types of emails, I check the sender’s email address and, hold on that’s not from FB it’s from @d***h**.com or something like that .com, a.k.a not real!

All lies! And I thought back, wait, FB hasn’t sent me a notification on the app or the page or anything, and they suddenly would send an email? Ugh! Really, I hope you don’t get trapped into some scam like that and I wanted to share this with all of you so you’re on the lookout because it doesn’t stop.

And also, they do it on FB directly, they have pages that are named you’re page has been flagged or stuff like that, and they do a post and tag you there, and have the audicity of putting a link that couldn’t be more fake.

Honestly though, be wary and always check who sent the message, because a “FB user” with no photo is not a real account and definitely not an official support message, which is probably how they’d contact you.

Thank you for reading, that’s all I wanted to say. 🙂❤️

Be careful online. 👀
