Writing Prompts: Short

Have you ever used a short writing prompt to start a new book, short story, poem, painting, anything?

Me? For writing books, I don’t remember that I have, perhaps one time but I can’t remember right now. I have used dreams that I had or random thoughts.

But today, I decide to share some short writing prompts I saw online. Maybe they’ll inspire some of you, lovelies. Do let me know if you had used or would in the future.

Here we go.

Writing Prompts: Short

  • ‘Guard this with your soul.’
  • ‘Love the story of your life, continue with the sunny attitude.’
  • ‘You start out from a hut, and go break the curse that has followed your family for generations’. (First person or third)
  • ‘Don’t be frightened, it’s only a small gift.’
  • ‘You go down the road and meet a strange character, what do you say?’

I’ll leave it short as the list and prompts. Should I do a second part of this? With longer ideas perhaps divided into fantasy, romance, mystery and so on?

It could be fun, let me know what you think, lovelies!

Don’t forget to like and follow. 💓😊
