Current WIPs

Hi, lovelies!

Notice the S there in the title? Yes, I have multiple works in progress, and it’s getting harder and harder to decide which one to publish first other than part 3 of the Serious Misbehaviours Series, which is almost done.

But this is about all the WIPs I’m currently working on. So, a little more about my other WIPs.

I started drafting one book for a friends-to-lovers story, and then, then, that turned into a four-part series, each one with a friendship element in it, some best friends, some just teammates and friends, others old family friends. But all of these are in the same city and college, and of course, they’re all friends with each other, so expect to find each character making an appearance in another book.

That’s just in draft stage (kind of a first for me), I haven’t written fully the first one, though, I have a lot of spicy scenes already almost ready.

Moving to the next WIP, is for the Serious Mishaviours Series (SMS) as I mentioned, part 3, still untitled, is almost done. But I also have a part 2.5, kind of a stand-alone story about Sapphire’s best friend, Pearl. And that one is taking a lot because I keep getting more and more ideas for it that it could be a full-length book if I let it keep growing.

How many words is a full-length book anyway? According to our friends on the internet, a novel is about 80k words and if it’s under 50k then it’s considered a novella. And 200 pages long would be considered a novel too, so yeah, I’m almost to that mark.

Anyways, sorry for the detour there. I have those two upcoming books for the SMS, but also a short story which could be #0.6 in the story. So many ideas, I never thought it would evolve into so much when I wrote Keeping Her Toy.

So, yes, that’s the WIPs I have at the moment, about 7 books, publication date? 1 or 2 this year? I want to, but the editing process is a dreadful prospect ahead, and the endings of each book is also something to consider since I don’t like endings much, but I’ll try my best.

I also have part 2 of the now established Among Other Series, which is Living Among Others (my first book) and When Normalcy Knocks (a prequel and short novel). However, part 2 of this series is more an idea than anything else, not even a draft, but it’s happening at some point.
