You know those moments, when you are writing like crazy and suddenly, it all stops? And you can almost see the characters chilling and saying: I am not telling you what happens next, you should know. So incredibly frustrating.
I went through something like it a couple of weeks back, then I got back into the horse, or tried to do so and then it all went back to stillness, and since that is the life of us writers, the block, then I decided to stop trying and forcing, it will come when it comes, I wanted to publish this one for Valentine’s but I do not believe that will actually happen, although I do think that I can have it done or ready to publish sometime before this month ends. This quick and sassy stories are set in college, a bit in the office (where the female lead works), and as a plus it has club moments, if you love dancing and listening to your favourite tunes with friends or hunky boyfriends, I mean boyfriend (do I?) then this one might be for you.
I only need to check the first part and it will be ready for your enjoyment, afterwards I have to give the format for the epub, and then create the cover, I have an idea for it but since we have the club and the dancing I think I need to keep thinking about it. It will be a bit minimalist but I do hope it will call out to you guys.
I got carried away updating you on the new story, but since the characters do not want to tell me everything at the moment, then I thought it better to talk about them. I think I have said enough, I don’t want to overwhelm you, the writer’s block will have to go eventually, I know it will (I hope it will), and then everything will be back to normal, yeah right. At least I know that after a few days of reading something I love, or writing something else, then the words for this new story will come back.
How about you? Do you have major writer’s block just when the story is getting interesting? How do you deal with it? For all the writers out there, I know what it feels like to be in a block. I am truly done now, thank you for sticking to the end and let me know if you have any question about how I deal with Writer’s Block.
Enjoy your day.
